Sorry but I think this paper does not prove that Arsenic can do diddly. The controls sucked, but the author has proved one thing. She can always find work in theatre....perhaps this what NASA's new role is haha....ah all the best.

@dinofernando11 I'm no scientist but I am aware of how much controversy this paper has caused... and i did a disfavor by not posting including the dissenting voice that was present at this press conference. And it certainly doesn't help that the esteemed scientist comes accross more as a 2nd grade teacher than a... well... scientist.

However, I do think the very notion that disputes current thinking about Life, is a good kick-in-the-a** to think outside the box...

Her paper has now been shown to be extremely flawed, and fellow scientists are saying she should never have published it.

@robert7f Dear Robert, that's not the way science works. If this woman wants to shift a paradigm she has to provide conclusive evidence. She is not perfectly honest, she is biased and misleading.

What ever kept you up at night lead to this amazing discovery, but that doesn't mean you will find the meaning or origin of life using scientific test.

This research has been discredited. The scientific community is united in declaring that none of the data presented support the conclusions. The two researchers are now perpetrating a deception.
