  • This is why people become Engineers.

  • I agree, the sound is like that one generated by three APUs, onboard the Shuttle.

  • The sound you hear at 3:15-3:17 is not cameras, it's the SRB hydraulic power units at the end of the booster, they are started to provide steering to the nozzle.

  • No- the temperature is 5,200 degrees Fahrenheit, not that hot compared to the sun, really.
