  • beautifully read - strange in a northern accent as written as though was a cockney soilder ( i think? although who cares as it was not only cockneys who served and it's kind of refreshing) - shows what it means that he can recite from memory - that is a great poem - so many layers so subtle - thanks for uploading this little bit of gold dust ;)

  • There's a precious bit of video, worthy of remembrance.

  • Well done, mate. Well done.

  • Thank-you for that Malcolm. God Bless you!

  • It needs to be Cockney!

Who's that guy who played Eliza's father in "My Fair Lady?" That's the one who should be doing this poem!

  • Best reading I've heard. God bless that man.

  • To the Pilots of the RAFA we are glad you gave all.
