I think this was the best song on the album, personally. I don't think it was filler at all. I love the keyboard style of Mark Cardenas, very swift on the one- real nice hits on the synth to give it that extra umph.

I had this album on cassette and I wore that thing out! Use to jam this LOUD while cruisin' down Palm Canyon Dr. in Palm Springs, CA. during spring break back in '85. Damn those were the days.

Started out at 777-9311 and...oh my God...I just stumbled on this...I used to love this song...wore the cassette out twice!...my friend & I met the whole Morris Day gang at a restaurant & even though Jesse was a cutie...Morris had those freckles...ahhh those freckles fucked me up... got me in a lot of trouble with my Mom and pretty much helped to get me kicked out of High School...that's all I'm gonna say.

seriously...
I love the breakdown parts in it...
for example, I mean like from 1:30 to 1:45 or so....and again later in the song. that rhythm guitar is jus plain nasty!
