John Calvin taught that sin was the work of God. Just like Islam and paganism, Calvinism teaches that God is the author of sin. This full length video is a refutation to that blasphemous charge.

John Calvin said, "Whatever things are done wrongly and unjustly by man, these very things are the right and just works of God."

Martin Luther said, "Since, therefore, God moves and does all in all, He necessarily moves and does all in Satan and the wicked man..."

Luther also said, "God worketh all things in all men even wickedness in the wicked"

  • Where did you film this? I like that backdrop way more than those bookshelf ones or personal library ones that people usually choose as a backdrop...which I guess is supposed to make them look more educated.

  • @violetember It was in the woods. At a park. On a trial.

  • Is God the author of everything? “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” (1 Cor. 14:33). Clearly, God is not the "sovereign" cause of all things.

  • "All things work together for good for those that love the Lord, who are called according to His purpose..."

All things are not good, but everything works for good in the end for God and His Church.

God allowed Satan to test Job. God hardened Pharaoh's heart... God foreknew and used the betrayal of Jesus for good "“Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke beforehand by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.")

  • @callofchrist Is God the author of everything? “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” (1 Cor. 14:33). Clearly, God is not the "sovereign" cause of all things.

  • All I hear in this video is personal opinion... no scripture to back it up and even the scarce scriptures that are mentioned are completely pulled out of context. Man-centered theology at its finest.

  • we lost free will after the fall of Adam and eve. Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.

Romans 8:20 against its (Human) will, all creation was subjected to God's curse. But with eager hope,(The eager Hope is Jesus Christ who was crucified on a tree to save us )

now its Gods will. John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me

  • Use the word of God to support your free will not sinful deprived Human beings

  • Isaiah 45:7 I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things.

Romans 9: 10-21 Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God's purpose in election might stand: not by works but by him who calls—she was told, "The older will serve the younger." Just as it is written: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."(THEY DID NOTHING)

  • Proverbs 1:26 So I will laugh when you are in trouble! I will mock you when disaster overtakes you

  • Isaiah 46:10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.

Psalm 25:12 Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him. (God chooses there way not them)

Isaiah 46:10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.

  • "Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?" Romans 9:19-21

"Free" will= "Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth.." 1 Timothy 6:5

  • All the scriptures in this video would out way those of chronicle watch. We must weigh all the scriptures together not a handful of versus. I honestly desire the truth of the Word. First off as in 1 John he explains what eternal life is, if a person is not in the truth walking in it, how can he speak of knowing Gods character and expect people to believe when he has no witness from God that their is no sin in his life.

  • @chroniclewatch Yes, that scripture means much to me. I never felt I was seeking God but he choose me. I was only reading the bible to answer my sons questions about God since I knew nothing. Next thing I knew I had Gods' Spirit. I didn't see that comming.

  • Those verses you gave that counters calvinists lies are right on spot. I have to mark them in my bible. Calvinists love their Confessions and Decrees which is nothing more than man's tradition.
