24 years after their last studio release, THE WHO released an album in 2006 called Endless Wire. A particularly favorite song of mine from Endless Wire is the song Two Thousand Years. Pete Townshend stated he got inspiration for this song after seeing Mel Gibson's movie The Passion Of The Christ. Pictures of THE WHO in concert from 2006 through 2008 accompany the song. Inspiration for this clip came about after reading THE WHO signed on to be the half time entertainment at the 2010 Superbowl. Indeed, these (kids) are alright!

@soxfan1957 pauls ego would stop that happening, would demand all song wiritng credits, and anyway when ever you see either pete or roger solo you can always feel kieth and johns presence even tho there are only there in spirit

I love the harmonizing on this one. Most Who tunes have Roger hitting the low parts and Pete the high, this song has the opposite and it sounds great.
