I think this song has been misinterupted in the past ...john lennon's philosophy was that with love we can achieve anything we want and live in the world we deserve...maybe thats why he was assainated ????

Those pictures are awful. I always had a totally different image in my head when I listened to this song. A romantic one ;) And this shall last forever in my mind.
