My first attempt fell a little short and I hit the B. My second attempt just about got it. In fact, I just harmonized it with Gillette's "Wooooooorld" and it is right on.
@SONGbyrdRYzing Sparingly? Every other female at that tribute to Aretha outdid her.Because she was flat the entire time and couldn't keep in tune and she was the only one dependant on screaming to hit high notes. The other girls were effortlessly belting c5+
Your throat won't DIE, if you learn to hit it the correct way—or at least in a way that doesn't require so much force... Kinda deadly to the chords, mate. Just a precaution...
@primohomme LOL 1. How do you know I even like Christina Aguiera? 2. That's only because she likes to utilize her midrange/ chest voice and only uses the upper extent of her range sparingly, like at the Grammys last year when she sang w/Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, and the others, in the song "Soar," or during her live performance of her song "Hello" when she was pregnant (with Max).
I find ironic a fan of Christina Aguilera would criticize his note as a scream, when all Christina does is screaming and barking (often not well in tune) and at pitches an octave lower than C6...
C6 is not hard for me anymore not at all. I peak around G7 or G#7 but by G#6 my whistle is usually (not all the time) more detectable as whistle as opposed to the full sound that makes it sound like head voice
Very powerful.

@SONGbyrdRYzing
There are plenty of female belters who don't sound strained and don't bark their notes the way Christina does...so that's no excuse...
