1975 Tour de France Puy de Dome Eddy Merckx punched

Brief clip of Eddy Merckx whilst in the yellow jersey in the 1975 Tour de France getting punched on the way to the top of the Puy de Dome. Merckx would go on to lose the yellow jersey the next day to eventual tour winner, Frenchman Bernard Thevenet.

I gotta say, it didnt look that bad to be honest. But then again we're not talking about just standing in the street and getting punched, he's in the middle of the Tour de France, one of the most physically demanding sports events in the world. Even a small knock would put you off your game, expecially on an ascent.
