I would love to take my big Beemer bike up that road...beautiful ride. Just curious, are there no speed limits there? Never see any signs and everyone seems to ride like their pants are on fire.
@rebelgent1 Don't let a few empty kilometers give the impression we have open roads here. The best thing to drive around here is a 150 CC continuous drive automatic. Power to burst through traffic and light enough to be maneuverable. You wont need mirrors because you don't have time to look in them.
My home for 18+ months! Up on 647... Our plywood 2-story houses, wind, clouds, duoc langurs, deer, macques, and mongoose... lovely sunsets/sunrises... Oh, the road is MUCH nicer. The locals hoofed it up and down...
@Goo59ber Yes, my wife, who was a girl then used to climb the mountain to find wood for her mother. They lived not far from the Tien Sa Navy installation which had been a French fort before. It's right near where we live now. Check out the series on the house construction.
