  • @CDTbossy If you call this car a turd, then what is the proper name for American cars?

  • @CDTbossy. What's better a Smart car or a 500?. This car isn't that underpowered. Has 100hp and there will be various performance models of it. There's even a 250hp version out there, this is going to kill the mini.

  • @compukenny

Yeah a full size car or sedan and being like the most of the other people soooooo boring and almost impossible to find your ride at the mall lot.... or maybe You are not the target of this kind of car; I dont mind about space or price but I want to be diferent!! and this is diferent and cheap so torch all the borring Toyotas!!

  • I was expecting a lip kit or carbon covers Mopar need to make a real effort and Fiat USA to bring us the Punto Abarth!!!

  • @compukenny or a gas sipping Prius.

  • @compukenny ... which will corner like a dog on rollerskates, consume a small OPEC nation's entire oil reserve in a week and kill either you or the other guy in a crash (roulette, anyone?) ... this is assuming it isn't broken sown of course.

  • @compukenny It doesn't cost that much. I priced one recently at just over 15,000 and it goes like a bat out of hell. I loved the car and am seriously thinking of getting one. San Diego to Northridge = 150 miles...on Labor Day I made the trip in less than one hour and forty minutes. And it cost me about 30 bucks in gas round trip, including three days driving around IN San Diego.

  • Hmmm....trust Chrysler to "ghetto-ize" a perfectly good car. I wouldn't want it "Moparized." I rented a straight 500 and loved it as is. I don't really want any Chrysler cooties on my Fiat.

  • I don't understand. for people that don't like the car. who is twisting your arm to buy it. You're so narrow minded that can't enjoy the beauty in this car. BTW Jay Leno owns one of these and has a collection of cars.

  • This is just wrong. Cant think of something LESS Mopar than a Fiat.

  • It sounds like they're trying to turn it into another Mini, with all these costly accessories. I don't consider that a good thing, considering Mopar's history of GOUGING everything new they touch. Like the early PT Cruisers, the Prowler, and the Magnum. The later two died cause of sticker gouging and the Cruiser only gained a larger market appeal after the price was adjusted. At this point, the only thing keeping down the cost of the 500 is the Fiesta, which starts at couple grand less.
