Your a good player and you do some good Stevie impressions. I do think its sad that all these people are so worried about the way Stevie played every little last note. I think if Stevie was still alive he would have told you to do your own thing. He did, its why he sounded the way he did.

dude i like it the way u did it 1st because a real guitar will put their own something something into it! i know that u have 2 teach it the correct way but thanks 4 the lessons. great job!!!

@gr8bluesgtr Okay, you're not alowed to teach the whole song, but can't you teach us another cool part from the song?
He does awesome things from the El Mocambo! :D
To be really picky - I think he used the G and B ( fret 7 & 8) strings with ring finger pulling off from 9th fret of the G string and then onto 10th fret of the D string. Its the same notes, but using the E string gives a distinctly different sound to it, which I cant hear on his recording. I think thats exactly how Hendrix played this hammer-on/pull-off also.

Anthony, I saw a guy who played those "F" style thumb over top major chord with the free pinky, but he would cover/fret both the 4 and 5th strings with his ring finger, giving him a full barre with the ability to pinky embellish still available to him... you ever try this?

Love the tone, Anthony. Could you tell us your amp, pedal, and guitar settings to go from the clean intro into this part and the next overdriven part?
