Mark Patrick Ransom
Age 32, passed away to go home with the Lord, at 11:00 PM at his home on October 30, 2009, in Portland, OR. He was born November 30, 1976, in Adrian, MI, the son of Bill & Norma (Holland) Ransom. On September 14, 2008, he married his best friend Carol Smith, she survives.




Pat graduated from Hudson High School, Class of 1994. He received his Associate Degree in Business Management from Jackson Community College. In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his parents, Bill & Norma Ransom, his brother; Christopher (Dawn) Ransom, his sister; Kate (Terry) Young, two nieces and four nephews, and his two "boys" Snickers & Rocky.

He was preceded in death by his niece, Chelsea.


Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 5, 2009, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI, with Rev. Jay Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgeway Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian.
