What's the name of the final song, you made of this? Is it done yet? :)) I would be more than happy, if I could hear it.

im having problems with my sub bass clashing with my mid range and high sounds. ive got the right filters set up for the sub channel, 100hz, and every other sound is filtered above 125 hz. i dont understand why the volume of the other sounds is affected by the sub bass i just want the sub to be entirely seperate from the rest of the track. any advise?

@justindowty hmm well it will never actually be that separate ;) just tweak tweak tweak, good mixdown skill will come with time. Just practise and dont give up man. ;)

@GiDriK do you have any advice on what vsts or filters to use? ive been using as i said fruity free filter for the high pass on mostly everything and low pass on the bass. ive also tried parametric eqing on the bass. im not sure if theres another program i should be using or if i need to just tweak with what im currently using

@justindowty use parameric eq's to do the EQing, filters are better for automation i think..
fabfilter . com/products/pro-q . php -- this is a superb equaliser.
