EQ Classic

EQClassic is a project currently being developed with an intent to recreate EverQuest as it existed before the release of the Shadows of Luclin. Based on an original spawn database, this server aims to be the most accurate recreation of the EverQuest servers ever created. Using a client that predates many of the expansions, the EQClassic server will utilize its own custom loginserver and will be capable of hosting thousands of players eager to play EverQuest again at its prime. The server will feature among other things, the original user interface, character models, zones, spells, sounds, textures, music and NPC spawns. The server will be a great experience for past players of EverQuest as well as new players who never had the opportunity to see Norrath at its prime. Although this server is largely based on a classic version of EverQuest, we feel that community input is essential in running a successful server and we would love to hear your thoughts, concerns and ideas.

There was a game Mars War.It was f2p clone of Planetside.Why game shutdown after few months?Its cause people dont like to get killed by a laggers.InsaneSlaYeR was my name /waves to all those pore newbs...Anyway game die cause 1 guy ONE GUY from chinna woud kill every one just cause no one can hit him .SO instead of fixing this problem devs just give up .Mars wars need 1 patch and it woud be popular game. What i am trying to say is can we have 1 patch for p1999.Thank you very much.

It's nowhere near gamebreaking, as it's been stated before. People are still leveling, druids are still kiting, necros are still fearing. Fact is, it's not as big of a deal as you're making it out to be. If it were, it would be a bigger topic for discussion with the developers when in truth, it's pretty fucking low on the totem pole.

MOBS Running whit sow is not big deal for project 1999.You know i bet for 75% of classic eq fans this is GAMEBRAKING -)

@6762bmx thanks for the compliment, you are as stupid as people who play on vztz or people who got banned from p99. Id rather play with a bunch of mature people (altho a lot of people are in their 20s) than with a bunch of WoW kiddys like you probably are.
