Miami Vice - A concussion leaves Crockett thinking he is a drug dealer alter-ego Burnett

While overcoming his grief over Caitlin's death, Crockett goes undercover in a high-stakes mobster meeting arranged on a fishing boat to bring together Alejandro Gutierrez and Miguel Manolo. Tubbs watches in the distance as the boat explodes. He is frantic because the rescue crew cannot find a trace of Crockett. After a recuperation period, Crockett is taken to Manolo's home. Manolo's assistant, Polly Wheeler, takes a romantic interest in Crockett. Sonny is able to gain Manolo's trust, and Manolo arranges a deal with the Arzaminis and has Gutierrez take Crockett along. Meanwhile, Tubbs takes a leave from Vice to track down Manolo. He meets Rolando Jordan, a Detective Sergeant with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department. They are old friends from the Academy, and Jordan informs him that Internal Affairs is handling Manolo because of a department leak. Meanwhile, Crockett and Gutierrez wait for the Arzaminis who do not show up. Crockett explains that Manolo knows Gutierrez planted the bomb on the boat. Alejandro tries to talk Crockett over to his side, but Crockett blows him away. Jordan tells Tubbs that Gutierrez, who supposedly died with Crockett on the boat, was found dead. He sends Tubbs to the Feature gallery through which Manolo launders money. Meanwhile, Yagovitch who works with Jordan, informs Manolo that Tubbs is a Vice cop and worked with a man named Sonny who died on the boat. Manolo decides to test Crockett's amnesia and sends him to kill Tubbs. Tubbs is shocked when he sees Crockett who pulls his gun and shoots him. Fortunately, Tubbs was wearing a bullet-proof vest, and Yagovitch informs Manolo he is still alive. Manolo sends Crockett out with Yagovitch on a drug transaction. Meanwhile, Castillo informs Tubbs and Jordan that Yagovitch is the leak. Jordan and Tubbs head to the gallery. Yagovitch pulls a gun on Crockett and they head towards the speedboat. Tubbs runs to the boat calling for Sonny who shoots Yagovitch before he boards. Then Sonny jumps onto the boat and fishtails off into the sunset as Jordan and Tubbs look on.

yes this was the end of that show if I recall, then it was continued next week ... tubbs had his 2nd chance vest on (Bullet Proof Vest called "Second Chance")
