does this have a battery pack? I reciently got a sony TCS 310. it plays but fast foward and rewind don't work at the momement, so will check belts later. the battery pack seems completly dead, so ight see if i can replace some batteries inside of it. great quality units from sony

It has a pack for 4 AA's and a rechargeable one, but the rechargeable one is dead. (and slightly corroded)

Nice machine. It looks and sounds so much like the SONY BM-11 (I sent you a video response). Dual flywheels in the BM-11 as well.
