  • @JimBell1984 Hahah it's the title of the suite. I had no control over it. Although Ireland was once a part of the United Kingdom, the Irish revolution led to the majority of Ireland seceded from the UK. Although the UK still controls Northern Ireland, so technically you are right ( I am assuming by English you are referring to the whole of the UK and not just Great Britain).

  • Let's rather concentrate on the music itself, which is the important thing.

    The performance here of this last movement sounds powerful enough to be another Boston Pops rendition, but at this point I'm not sure.

    The fourth movement, The Wearing Of The Green, seems to be missing from this set. I tried unsuccessfully to search for it.

    And what I had to listen to in its place has a disaster at the end, where the last note is cut off. Should never have been posted like that.
