@kepiblanc2007 You must be kidding. I hope you are. Perhaps you'd like to redesign Parliament, scrap the Westminster system of government, abolish free speech, these are all part of OUR British heritage. Not multicultural enough, eh? Canada is what it is because of our founding peoples. I'm not of British descent. I have not one drop of Anglo-Saxon blood, but I'm damn proud to be CANADIAN & being CANADIAN means something, it is a history, and not just a collection of people

I would like to say as a China-born Canadian that I respect and appreciate that we have been able maintain some traditions that reflect the pride we share in some of our heritages - The Changing of the Guard, Dragon Boat Races and Lion Dances, Sweet Grass Ceremonies - Unfortunately, some people take pleasure in rather distasteful tradition - mocking that which they do not understand. I have served with the Guard, and you haven't. You clearly don't understand, so shut up until you do.

@kepiblanc2007 Look at the soldiers in this video, how many Chinese-Canadians do you see? There are approx. 250 Soldiers with the Ceremonial Guard each year, this past year there were 2. How many of the other soldiers do you think are of Western European descent? Why should we destroy century old military traditions to please a small minority? The uniform does not represent Canada but the past sacrifices of the individuals that make up the forces, BTW Full dress uniforms are paid by donation...

@kepiblanc2007 Canada is multicultural, sure. That includes Britain. And if you don't care about the uniform, than learn some Canadian history. Also, these regiments, the songs they play, and the uniforms they wear pre-date and are part of the formation of Canada. They are as much Canadian as they are British. Changing a single thing about it would be a shame, because it would be giving up our own heritage. This is only the full dress uniform of 2 particular regiments. They normally wear green.

@kepiblanc2007 canada is of british and french heritiage, the very foundation. a country should not change to suit the desires of immigrants. immigrants should come to the new country willing to assimilate and follow/support the traditions, not try to change them.
