Amazing! The scale looks perfect! Where did you locate the top drive gear, as well as the materials for the stand etc.? Very interested to know more.

When I was a kid, I remember phantasizing building a model rolloplane, say with an Erector Set. I had the mechanics down pat in my mind, but I just couldn't figure a way build it. And I wanted a precise scale model. You done did that perfectly, Dude.

Get some welding rods, alluminium tube (old telescope tripod), plastic card, foam card (3mm & 5mm), mesh (car body repair),washer's, small electic motor, elastic band and some L.E.D' s (Christmas lights from the budget shop).
Mess about sticking it all together - and then you have one...
I still aint got round to finishing the paint
