Really good video mate. I understand that the axis allows for the "no"(side to side) head movement, but what gives the ability to do the "yes"(up and down) head movement?? Cheers.

The articulation of the Atlas (C1) and the Axis (C2) is known as the Atlantoaxial Joint. This joint allows for rotation of the head. The articulation which allows for flexion and extension (yes {nodding}) lateral flexion and circumduction is superior to the Atlantoaxial Joint; called the Atlanto-occipital Joint which connects the Atlas (C1) to the Occipital Bone of the skull.
