The intro sounds a bit like star wars :)

@moltoallegro19 If you mean Richard Wagner composer, he was already dead when NSDAP appeared:)

I want to get married now.

Mendelssohn understood that every significant entrance needs a beautiful yet memorable anthem. In Mendelssohn's case, too memorable, but, we call that genius and accept it for what it is. At a soirée for two people, upon playing this music, everything from that point on is fucked!

i liked the state farm commercial at the beggining best. :)
Due to natural reasons I hereby delete any comment that has anything to do with the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Mendelssohn had Jewish heritage, yes already.
This video is about his music, not his possible stand in modern international politics (or Wagner's membership in the NSDAP, either).

My only wish is to make classical music more available to people not to exploit copyrighted material.

@moltoallegro19
Don't worry, most Classical music, including the "Other" Wedding March by Richard Wagner, are in the Public Domain, and as such copyright had long expired. The recording artists however, do have "performance rights" though.
Unlike pop music, such as "the Hawaiian Wedding Song", classical music has to be support by tax dollars in most countries anyway.

@barrhavener I know most of the classical repertoire is public domain, but all classical recordings fall under the same copyright laws as any other recorded music (uploading a recording is "copying" it). Every orchestra/conductor/record company have the rights to their recording of a classical work. I have problems on a daily basis with these rights.
