"Heritage In Focus: The Immigration Debate: What Would Reagan Do?" Heritage's Ronald Reagan Distinguished Fellow Edwin Meese says the Senate should learn from the immigration reform mistakes of the 1980s.
Reagan gave us 18% interest. He was a tired old man just like you and I am sure you have a rocking chair with your name on it so go home and rock and leave this mess to people with the strength to resolve it.
Give people a path to legalization. Dont criminalize their status any further. It is about cheap labor. Get cheap labor, keep cheap labor and capitalize
Sorry guys, but Ronald Reagan never owned a chimp named Bonzo, never played football for Notre Dame, and never boinked Shirley Temple. The boy was an actor. He presented other people's words in a manner that made people temporarily suspend disbelief. The difference between Reagan the actor and Reagan the president is that with the actor we knew it was just a movie. With the president a bunch of idiots are still sitting in the theater with their mouths hanging open.
My understanding is that the amnesty wasn't provided to resolve illegal immigration, but out of ethical and practical responsibility. It wasn't that amnesty "didn't work". It Did work for what it was intended for: to provide amnesty. You know that... So, what's your true gripe H.F? You don't like poor people, that's for sure. Could there be something else.
I feel proud that our men are fighting to defend our empire from the evil people in these third worlds countries who dont want to sell their oil to us.
Now the iraqis are free to elect a government that we approve of and are free to sell their oil to us and not others.
And we will protect them from electing a free government that will build an economy that will help the ordinary people.
We have to be proud of our men who sacrifice themselves for the good of the impoverished corporate elite.
No difference between the 80's and now. Most CONGRESS is still same folks. 80's resulted in making you work longer and get less in SSI, Medicare and Medicaid. Yak, yak, yak. Enforce the laws

The Reagan brand of credit card conservatism is destined for the ash heap of history.
Governing by MASSIVE deficit spending (Reagan/Bush/Bush) is NOT leadership.
Write in Ron Paul.

What would Reagan do? Same thing he always did---wet himself then fall asleep.
