Vince walked by and saw Spivey and Hogan talking together, they both had on yellow tights, both were about the same size, had the blond hair and were from Tampa. Vince told them.."YOU GUYS GET AWAY FROM EACH OTHER". Spivey said it would have made for a great angle..."WHO WAS THE REAL STAR FROM TAMPA"..but Vince didn't want any part of it...

@wrestlingfan2606 Yes, I just watched the Ken Resnick shoot and this was the match where Spivey busted him up in the back.

@wrestlingfan2606 no, this is what sparked it off..according to Dan Spivey adrian kicked him hard in this match and cussed him out, afterwards a few wrestlers including dynamite kid had to calm Spivey down. A few days later they had to square off again in flynt michigan, adrian was stiff with punches again and tried to put a real sleeperhold on him, Spivey got out of it and messed his face up and put hm out of action in the wwf.

Good finish, Spivey had to work hard there. Adonis didn't seem to know what he was doing most of the match. Good selling by Adonis. Dan Spivey should not have been jobbing to guys like this. Spivey was a very talented guy. Ahead of his time and a template for so many big guys to follow. The fight they had was according to spivey on a house show. Adonis wouldn't let Spivey out of a chinlock so Spivey broke it and punched adonis in the face legit a few times.
