Convenience and video store clerks Dante (Brian O'Halloran) and Randal (Jeff Anderson) are sharp-witted, potty-mouthed ... and bored out of their minds. So in between needling customers, the counter jockeys play hockey on the roof, visit a funeral home and deal with their love lives. Produced on a shoestring budget by director Kevin Smith, this classic indie comedy won awards at both the Sundance and Cannes film festivals.

"It's in Black & White" - They had no money for a camera. Does Kevin Smith seem like the kind of director who would do that shit for artistic purposes? Hell no, he hated that shit!

"The acting was terrible!" - They weren't actors except for Marylin G.

These aren't opinions, this is all on the commentary tracks. If you are going to review a movie do it from the perspective of a filmmaker, not a vlogger. The videos on my channel are horrible, but we're getting better as we learn.

BritPop!'s right Clerks is totally Special. It's one of those Indie films that lives on for being as passionate and as well written as it was. Even though the acting wasn't superior or ground breaking, as most big films claim to be, I think it wasn't only fitting but it was that dub step above just having your friends act in what you're shooting. They did the film justice.
