In the interest of full disclosure :) I am a NYC liberal. . .with a gun (which I keep ALWAYS between myself and my door and no place else, thanks very much). It grieves me that there seems to be no way to keep guns out of the hands of crazy people like Cho. That's all. Wish it were different.

"guns don't have fingers to pull their own triggers, guns don't have a brain to plot a murder. Punish the criminals, don't punish me, don't punish the gun." Penn + Teller Bullshit. BTW, 20 gun laws were broken in Columbine, what good would 21 have done? Basically, you're right, more gun laws don't do anything, because CRIMINALS DON'T OBEY THE LAW! There's even instructions on the internet on how to make an AK - 47 in your garage.

We do need gun control. Not getting rid of them but even you must think that we need to get rid of "Cop killer" bullets. But, that's not going to stop crime. You're going to have jackasses who think that gun control is a just cause to go on a rampage. You can't disarm them, so you try to prevent people like that from coming up. The problems in society. Even if guns have low control, society is higher on the list of things we need to fix. But people waste time by blaming a gun.

Although i do support gun control, i agree with you. No one ever keeps a level head about these subjects, they're either shouting "GUNS KILL PEOPLE" or "DON'T TAKE AWAY OUR GUNS!" No one ever notices that it's the persons fault. You're right, there's plenty of ways to kill people, ways that would take less time but still do more damage. You seem to take opinions seriously, please address mine.
