  • ... then try the whole wheat blend pastas (Barilla Plus is a good one). It's a great option ... half white/half wheat and some flax seed mixed in for heart healthy omega-3 fats.

Yea, but many people are sheep.

and the corporations own the United States.

Which is why Obama wants to take our money, he can't control corporations.

  • Yeah, true. I don't buy this "all grains are bad for you" advice that the Paleo-diet crowd has been advocating. The abundance of enriched flour in a lot of foods has sadly given grains a bad name.

  • Nothing wrong with grains, eat whole grains,DON'T eat any bread, or cakes,

  • I don't want to argue, all I was doing was stating a opinion/fact. My bad if it came out wrong, but no one reads between the lines anymore.

  • Yay, I win ;p

  • Go argue with someone else about a loaf of bread.

  • What's with you and fibre, geez? There's more to whole grain than fibre. And I said nothing about multigrain bread, I said wholegrain bread.

  • You don't have to be a nutritionist to do research. This is good commen sense. Just because grains are "multi" doesn't mean they are whole necessarily. It's deceptive marketing. Read to lables and look for the highest fiber content whether it's multigrain OR wheat. Sheesh!
