http://www.performbettergolf.com/blog... - Golf Swing Biomechanic Mike Pedersen shows you how to release your hands in your golf swing. Implementing golf training movements and drills will quickly improve your ball striking. The key is what you do with your right wrist. First remove all tension in wrists and fingers.

Second, from the top, pull down with the butt of the club, retaining the angle (hinge) in your right wrist for as long as you can. You want to avoid the early release at all costs.

Then, coming into impact, get your right hand on top of the shaft, covering the golf ball. This will compress the crap out of the ball, and it will explode of the clubface. Continue to drive the right hand down as if you're twisting it into the ground.

There is no rolling of the wrists independent of your arms, shoulders and body. As your right hand smothers the golf ball, your right shoulder is firing through, giving you more power through impact. No weak arm slap here!

You'll notice the golf wrist release aid - http://www.performbettergolf.com/wris... I'm using that is a fantastic training aid to educate your hands how to release through impact. Training with this device in your home will give you the exact feel to compress the heck out of that golf ball!

If you're a golf pro, you must have this tool to get each and every student to experience the proper release of the golf club.

Mr. Mike Pedersen is an extremely generous man to divuldge this essential piece of tuition for free. This is the "secret" of the most amazing ball striking in golf. I am a club golfer and can hit a seven iron 181 yards as a result of this teaching. You are a legend Mike. I our you my gratitude forever. Nevie.

Hey Mike! Great Video! One question. While on the driving range, I received advice to put the ball way back in my stance with all clubs; even the driver and it would help me avoid the slice. It does most of the times but what is the negative to doing this? Especially with the driver!

    Thanks!

IMO this is not a good piece of advice. You are moving the ball to a position that is not "low point" in your golf swing. This will create a very inconsistent result.
