He never said to take from the rich country to GIVE to the poor country. He said that rich and "powerful" countries like the U.S. and U.K. should not have different laws when dealing with other powers just because they are rich and "powerful". Basically, why should it be different for a country, men, women, and hetero/gays it should be the same for every group when it comes to rights.

I don't like the song, but I like the message and I love to hear Brian use his power as musician for such a noble aim. He sounds really angry and I one should ask him, it is a topic he will get angry about in an interview as well.
