Money isn't the problem, I hate the rich as much as the next guy but as far as politics go the issue isn't campaign funds it's the political system itself. (essentially)Two parties and your vote not going to a candidate but instead being through into a pile to decide who your STATE gives its vote to just results in America picking whoever looks like they'll screw you over less at the moment.

The "handouts" we want are decent healthcare for everyone and tuition assistance. We could have paid for that and more if Bush hadn't lied to us and invaded Iraq. We're sick of fearmongers. Most of our budget goes to "defense." People who want wars should pay the $4.3 TRILLION bill for the last one. We fiercely opposed it but have to pay for it anyway. Over a million Iraqis and 6000 U.S. soldiers died to enrich the 1%. War is an evil racket. The Golden Rule works better.

No. Big business and money have nothing to do with the voting SYSTEM. Politicians not wanting to change how the system works is not due to bribes it's because doing so is against their best interest. More competition. Infact the rich and powerful are probably the only guys that COULD get it changed. We can force one party out of office but in this case it's BOTH that are the enemy. (please, please don't say "don't vote for either"; that is a stupid plan)
