Exactly. He still loved Anne even after her marriage (they didn't have an affair/he just was still in love w/ her) & he knew that she/4 innocent men were being executed for crimes they didn't commit simply cuz the king/his supporters wanted her out of the way. He knew they were just pawns in the game of power at court/he's disgusted by it.

@2xEpic Sorry, I replied late. Because Thomas Wyatt really did sleep with Anne Boleyn in her younger years...(it was shown in Season 2 Episode 2, not while married to Henry though) and their letting him go. When he himself should be the one executed, instead of the innocent men that are falsely accused in having an affair with Anne.
