Note that the "loud" distortion in this vid was played extremely quietly: the acoustic sound of this acoustically quiet guitar was actually very audible compared with the distortion. Not sure this wouldn't give problem feedback when pushed.

What amp was actually used on this demo.. surely not the Vox?

THIS GUITAR + DISTORTION = WEAPON!

nice...now how about giving the guitar to someone who can play so we can really see how it sounds.

@HKDrider i went to a few shops to see some
and yeah its a bit late xD
i have more experience on it now
and i think the "slim" hollowbodys are more towards electric guitars
and the "fatass" hollowbodys are more towards acoustic
;D
keep rocking

@ShowmetheBlues its probly too late to answer lol :p but hollow bodies usually play the same as any other electric, they just have a more acoustic feel on the neck

I can tell just by lookin at the video that the bridge on that thing is garbage.

@515742617000027 Though probably too late in reply, these Gretsch Electromatic guitars go for around £300 - £400. They are budget models that are made in Korea. The guitar itself isn't particularly well made however. The paint job is often found to be patchy, the bridge is terrible and the machine heads are awful.
It does come with D'Armond pickups, which are actually rather good and, as shown here, the guitar does sound rather good. I've got one sitting next to me and I love it,
Nice fantastic big f-holes...priceless.
