This is a great song for a great organization. It was part of a corporate video we made for the Red Cross after 9/11.

When I made this video for our fallen heros of 9/11, I realized that the American Red Cross were helping our servicemen home and abroad...as in the song: "When our servicemen are lonely, for the family in the States, he'll be there with friendly words, help to share their lonely weight .... on land and sea and air, you will always find us there ..." Thank you again to all the voluteers and for all you do.

Dad a British Soldier taken as a POW after the failure of the Greek campaign in 1941. They was loaded into railway box cars for camps in Germany. It took 3 days to travel from Greece to Belgrade. They received no food & little water. On Belgrade station the American Red Cross supplied sandwiches to the POW's. The young ladies running it cried at the state of the soldiers. Dad appreciated the food but the crying made him realize the poor state he was in. He hopes they got out of Europe in time.
