This is my chinchilla, Chachi, barking up a storm as he waits in his backup cage for his regular home to get cleaned. He's nocturnal and gets very grumpy when he's taken out of his regular cage.

  • Thanks guys. He actually got a bath right after we finished cleaning his cage. -And he LOVED it as always.

  • Are you people really so stupid that you missed the part about him being removed from his actual cage while his cage is being cleaned. Can't you read?

  • just because he looks cute and is making noises dosent mean he is happy.

  • when there fur gets like that it means its been way to long if your going to get an exotic pet u should learn about the animal alittle bit first

  • wow ur chinchilla looks horrible def need to take better care of him you should get a book at the pet store, chinchillas need to take dust baths urs looks like he never had one

  • @ruffypoo i argee

  • They get bad fur like that when threatened or mistreated..... As you see he isnt human friendly prolly because he was/is abused. common sense when you see the fear is its eyes. My chin comes to me and never runs away like that!

  • I always hear mean in the other room and I'm like "Poopy! What are you doing?", and most of the time he's just chillin' or wanting a raisin lol

  • INSERT UNINFORMED RETARD REMARK HERE

You people make me sick. It's not your animal, shut the hell up.

  • this may sound stupid for idiots... but his fur is just ok:) im sure that little fella got a dust bath and some Chinchillas just produces more oil through their skin/fur than others. Mine does dustbaths like .... one time every 20th minute :p

  • @despaul12 He might just have bad fur quality due to genetics. Also, it's called a dust bath (though it's technically sand). No ash involved, however. Get smart before trying to be a smartass again.
