@chsn09 Then why the hell is she always trying to imitate African Americans and our culture?

Ppl, ppl, ppl, she is proud of her heritage, & that's all that matters! It seems like evrywhere on the tube the word "Haitian" is treated like a leaper! Stop it, "Haitians" is not a dirty word, it's not a disease! Haitian ppl r proud, beautiful, full of life & have a wonderful culture. Haitians fully embrace their heritage, & I salute them for standing up for their rights & freeing themselves from slavery. "Union fait la force" - Together we stand! If we can all do that to make a better world!

@SocailQueen Her parents decided on her first name as a tribute to her mother's maiden name. Her maternal grandparents, Lumis Albert Beyincé and Agnéz Deréon (a seamstress), were French-speaking Louisiana Creoles who are also from Haiti. Her mother born here did not learn creole and did not teach it to B, a lot of people do that to their kids. In the 60s Beyonce's grandmother did not think it was cool to teach her daughter creole since it was not cool to be associated with Haitian back then.
