S.C. Lawmakers Begin Sanford Impeachment Hearings

South Carolina legislators upset with Gov. Mark Sanford's summer disappearance to see his lover in Argentina on Tuesday began debating a measure that ultimately would remove him from office. The Republican also faces 37 ethics charges. (Nov. 24)

I agree, hdhighway, I think Sanford's a fuck. But I can't deny that I feel a strange soft spot for him -- in that way you feel for an unusually dumb Labrador Retriever -- after reading his letters to that woman. The guy is a total romantic loon.
