Part 1: This is from late night (west coast time) the day of the Rodney King verdict (into the next morning) of the rioting, looting and deadly violence that broke out in Los Angeles as the result of the acquittals of the four police officers who were found not guilty. The L.A. riots was a statement from Angelinos to Southerners, telling them that their way of life is not welcomed in this city.

If you´re from L.A. you learn that alot of whites moved to this city from Alabama and other southern states, bringing their racist way of life with them.

@BrittanyAG831 I really loved watching your dad...I was just looking at posts and saw yours and saw that Patrick was your dad..So sorry for your loss..I was stunned to read the news that a former CNN anchor had passed..I wasnt sure who it was being as the website didnt say who it was..wasnt til I got on another site that I read the news..Bout fell out of my chair because I had started many a morning watching Patrick and of course evenings watching him as well.He wasnt forgotten even now.
