Apart from the fact that it looks good, it requires no excavation or drilling in the floor to install this residential, wheelchair elevator Austin.

The base sits on top of the existing floor.

Essentially, it's a cylinder inside a tube.

At the top are the brains of the whole outfit.

To go up, air is sucked out of the top section and the difference in air pressure pulls on the cylinder, with you inside, to rise.

To come back down, the air pressure balance is restored and the cabin flows gently down under gravity.

This elevator sucks!

By that I don't mean that it isn't any good...

It's a pneumatic, vacuum elevator.

That means there are no cables, pulleys, pistons or expensive wiring... it's all powered by something cheap and ready available...

AIR!
Call 512-677-4243 to find out how you could be the first one in your neighborhood to have this never-seen-before, most-talked-about, work-or-art installed in your beautiful Austin home.
