this is so amazing!! i mean i hav tried some of the how to sew sleeves on youtube & they turn out way too different lol. my husband laughed at the sleeves i made w/ those sleeves coz after sewing.. d sleeves turned upward. lol. just imagine that. plus i cant fit the sleeves in (coz those vids also sew @ d sides w/c is i think is not a good idea coz aligning d convex part of the sleeves to the concave part of the shirt is way way hard for a newbie like me). ur technique is easier. thank so much!

The arches of the shoulder and the sleeve actually align, rather than have to be symmetrical. It works like a puzzle; the sleeve arch is convex, and the sleeve socket concave. This should prevent the bulking I think you are talking about. A sleeve can be attached on the square as well, but the finished look is very different.
