@terribleoneprimopro replace std seals with good ones, port the housings... run it nice and rich and premix the fuel.

They do that stock. No cats=flame on.
They also run rich from the factory. Why? The slightest bit of preignition usually causes them to bust an apex seal. What that does usually is trashes the rotor housings, possibly the rotor and merits a rebuild. Degree of the rebuild depends on how bad the damage is.
