The five-day Aero India 2011 at the Yelahanka Air Force Station, Bangalore, India was an opportunity to witness products of defence and civilian aircraft manufacturers around the globe. More than 70 companies showcased their high technology aircraft.
During the event I met Tim Pryse, an Australian pilot. In July 2010, Tim and Ken Evers went around the world in a Gipps Aero GA8TC - 320 Airvan, covering 27,000 nautical miles in 230 flying hours.
The GA8TC - 320 will spearhead Mahindra Aerospace's entry to the general aviation market.
