NJ will retire his number 27 this season according to NHL.com. Well deserved. The greatest defenseman of his generation (along with Nick Lidstrom) and responsible for all 3 NJ cups.

@4449911 Well he was born in BC so that sounds logical, I figure any athlete would want to play for their hometown team more then any other team. I think if they join the Nucks that would be great seeing as I live in Vancouver.
