  • @animumaurarium Trills don't need to be written in for harpsichord pieces that were written during the baroque period, and even modified today. They are meant to be placed by the player whist playing to make it sound unique to that person alone with it's elegance.

  • I've got a 1975 Rudolf Steglich edition (G. Henle Verlag München) of Kleine Praeludien und Fughetten, but the trill on 0:36 isn't in the score. So whom shall I trust: The book or Koopman?

    Sorry, Koopman surely

  • Sigmund Freud+Richard Dreyfuss= Ton Koopman

  • @oshidonimlop I like this piece very much too, there's just so much joy in it.

Koopman does it great justice with his playing, with lovely ornementation.

  • Bravissimo!

  • Wow, reminds me my pianolessons ... :)

Thanks a lot for posting this wonderful music! I could listen to it all the time!

  • The ornaments add a very nice elegance to the piece. This is one of my all time favorite pieces. Thanks for posting.

  • Lovely, thank you for posting it.
