London, 04 June, (Asiantribune.com): She appeared out of the blue and became the Tamil Tiger mouth piece in the UK within a few days. Worked tirelessly to win the sympathy for the Tamil cause at illegal demonstrations in London Parliament Square. Hijacked each and every media channel interviews and marginalised other organisers.
She is Jana Jananayagam. She has a hidden agenda which others couldn't figure out . Her intention is clear, appearing on media saying that she is the voice of Tamil Diaspora in the UK.
Now we all know what was her target.JJ is contesting in EU election as an independent candidate. She wants to win the election with the help of Tamil voters in the Greater London. Tamil Tiger website 'Tamilnet' and the British Tamil Forum which carries same aspirations as Tamil Tiger Terrorists openly support her.
It is understood that the British public is not expected to vote for her. Only Tamil voters will do so. But in an attempt to attract other communities such as Muslims, she claims to support 'statehood for Palestine'. She conveniently forgets the genocide and the ethnic cleansing suffered by Sri Lankan Muslims at the hands of Tamil Tigers.
So what will happen at the up coming EU election?
Not only the moderate Tamils but also British politicians in London representing all the main political parties would say this is a wrong approach by selfish Jan Jananayagam.
Politicians from Labour, Conservative and Lib Dem in London were openly involved with the Tamil campaign in recent times. Some of these politicians even supported the Tamil Tigers despite the disapproval of many moderate and sensible Tamil Voters in the UK. Some of them even took huge risks to get in to the Tamil Tiger stage, despite the British Government's ban on this terrorist organisation, under the Terrorism Act. So they are disappointed because of Jan's attempt to launch her political career, by depriving the main parties of Tamil votes in Greater London.
She is the leader of the Campaign Against the Tamil 'Genocide' in Sri Lanka. She claims that she is going to represent Tamils in the EU parliament and voice the Tamil cause there. But she has mislead the British public in the advertisement carried on London Metro newspaper. It says that she stands for civil rights and individual freedom, financial transparency and effective regulations, Equality and Diversity, Small businesses and Entrepreneurship, Ethical foreign policy and Animal welfare. She further says to the British public that if they are fed up with the abuse of MP's expenses, to vote for her.
Is she capable of fulfil all those above promises?. It is impossible. If she wins (which is unlikely), can she handle a 785 member EU parliament. However if she manages to get a reasonable number of pro Tamil Tiger votes in the Greater London area, it is most likely to deprive the Labour Party of its share of the vote, aggravate the loss for the Labour Party and what is more, let the racist BNP win a seat in the European Parliament.
How do London Tamil voters show their back to their ardent supporter MPs and MEPs in London representing Labour and Lib Dem?

firstly, MIA does not support the LTTE. Just because you're a tamil and you're against the Sri Lankan govt does not automatically make you a LTTE supporter.
And also, if Sri Lanka was that welcoming about the Tamil ppl, why are 250,000 being held against their will behind barbed wire? Why were the tamils being stripped of their citizenship? How do you explain the mass shelling of innocent civillians in the safe zone? There is much evidence to prove the discrimination against tamils over years.
