  • haha what's your point? of course the video is fake! the problem is not

  • I got a question, hope you will awnser.

Is this problem only with the imac 17 inch?

Or can i get this with my white macbook?

    any reports of that 2?

  • hi shiftyden, i can only tell you that 17'' intel imacs with certain (nost often) serial numbers suffer it.

It's been seen on newer imacs and i can't remember very well if it was seen on macbook pros. Maybe if you find deep you'll get to affected macbook users, but i cannot confirm it. Hope that answers your question :)

  • The real problem here might be Björk.

My Macs start to puke when I play this.

  • heheh that's one strong theory you got there, Mattnh

  • Apples have terrible logic board/graphic card problems. This is the cause of the lines on your screen.

They do not make it easy to clean dust out. Thus the hardware heats up and fails.

  • @decolll

Well, i dont know if i can help you to fix it yourself.

The problem seems to be with the hardware, the screen and the connections to the video/processor card.

I think you should go to a mac store or a Mac reseller store. hope they can fix it for you,and maybe it is a tip to go looking for forums about Mac/apple. The best way to get it fixed is by the AppleCare way. do you have AppleCare?

  • @shiftyden is cause i have an i mac G5 is only 2vertical lines but the are white how can i fix ????

    can you help me pleaas

  • the LVDS TFT Control microprocessor goes bad thats on the panel itself. the little board connected to all the buffer cables.

If you reach some surplus suppliers in "china" you can find replacement ICs and change JUST the IC. tough, but dooable.

  • @AeNPe101 The only way to solve it is get the screen replaced. The lines will probably multiply over time

  • I got the same problem with my new 21.5" iMac. But there's only one blue line on the right side. Does anyone know, how I can solve this problem???

  • what's the title of this song?!

  • i am more than 20 now, ACER sux'
