We've tried the sock bun method before here in our family. Here's some tips: First, if you want tighter curls use a thinner sock, and if you want looser curls use a thicker sock. Second, you have to get the level of dampness just right. I like the "Heat Free Dolly Curls with Socks" method better. It uses 3 socks and you don't have to cut them, and the curls are prettier. You should try that. Just search "Heat Free Dolly Curls with Socks" on YouTube and you will find it. :)

You didn't do it right. You have to wrap your hair all the way around the bun and roll it tight. Try experimenting with different sized socks. Trust me on this one. I just changed my pic to one I took after I sock bunned it. Check it out.
