  • @fooschmack No idea about the new layout, built mine about 2 years ago. You could modifiy your board to work the same, check the schems and cut the track / drill some holes, or bridge the led between 2 tracks for example. I made my own led/ldr with shrink wrap. ldr is from futurlec. I'd seen other people with the ldr indicator on the front and assumed thats what the holes were for. Tested it and it checked out. GL2U

  • @chromespherecom Ah, I see. I'm planning to build the latest version 2.4.2 from commonsound. org. Looks like the circuit is similar but the layouts are very different. So if I understand correctly, you used an internal LED/LDR (or VTL5C2 Photocoupler) AND wired in this LED to flash in time with the effect? How did you know to wire it in those empty holes? Was that a suggested mod, or is there another resource on the web you used to figure that out?

  • @fooschmack Hey fooschmack. I have checked my build. The LFO led is connected to the two empty holes near ground / in (have a look at the tonepad layout). The other white LED is just wired like you would any other pedal. I liked it set this way cause i wanted to see the speed of the lfo, whether the effect was enaged or not. I also wouldnt bother with the 'fine tuning' pot and do the symetry mode instead, its worth it! Good luck mate! CS

  • Could I ask you a question about your Tremulus? I'm wanting to start a build on this, but through commonsound I can't seem to find the best way to get the LFO LED (the one that activates the light dependent resister) mounted on the outside of the board like you have here. I assume it says active when the circuit is bypassed and that white LED you have there turns off. That's what I want, and I can't figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • @zark212 Hey thanks man! Glad you liked it!
