Thank you for posting this, BleedingOphelia- it is good to have some Steampunk elements to the Season! I hope we will see more- Abney Park is THE definition of Steampunk, and they are WAY beyond talented- so down to earth as musicians as well... I would almost be willing to bet that there will be more! ;)

@desol8tionangel Well, if I remember correctly, Robert and Kristina posted some videos last christmas, of the cap'n singing Kristina playing traditional christmas songs. Maybe they're still here, in some obscure corner of youtube.

And yeah, it could definitely be awesome, if they released another christmas album :D

Many versions of this song - and this, so far, seems to be the only one that actually gets it right - (as far as the drum is concerned) - Most other versions have that "military drum snare" which I never liked or believed would have been used in the day and age - a hand drum, Djembe or bongo would have been the more likely candidate as in this version. Love this version!

I agree - I went to a concert last week, where an orchestra played that song, and were like... To stiff^^ All the time, I was thinking about this song... It has such a good feeling to it(:
