Suria News 26 Feb Economy hotel, ibis opens at Bencoolen

Suria News - European hotel management company Accor opened a new hotel in Singapore on Thursday 26 February 2009, and announced that it is starting to work on another hotel to be launched in 2011.

Despite the weak global economy and dwindling visitor arrivals here, Accor said it still has a positive long-term outlook on the Singapore tourism sector.

The hotel is the first international economy hotel, and offers the rate of $148++ per room per night including free WiFi access.
