Shock, they have to ignore the world view implications of atheism, because if they admit that atheism is a world view or a part of a world view, that forces them to give positive arguments for atheism being accurate and correct, instead of hiding behind arguments from ignorance.

It's easy to defend the non-existence of something by appealing to ignorance (or Santa Claus) but when they try to defend intellectually bankrupt philosophies like evolution and moral relativism, it's no surprise...

i guess its a worldview but its rather independent of most others. you can be athiest and whatever else you want, except theist.

and many athiests do accept naturalism but by no means all.

What does Atheism have to do with evolution or moral relativism? In fact, many Atheist believe in creation and moral objectivism. I personally believe that modern humans (i.e. homo sapiens) were genetically engineered by extraterrestrials known as the "Anunnaki". They created us from the homo erectus they found here already living on Earth. They wanted to create a "primitive worker" or "slave race" to work in the mineral tunnels and mine gold for them!

What do you call a person that doesn't believe in any gods at all?

Maybe they should just call themselves godless, or religion-less and godless?
